Carnival Increases Cruises to Cuba

Carnival Cruises has upped the ante in Cuba, adding an additional 20 voyages to Cuba deploying Carnival Paradise from Tampa in 2019.

The increase in itineraries is a direct response to the "phenomenal guest response since we began sailing to the island last year" said Christine Daffy, president of Carnival Cruise Lines. She continued, "we're thrilled to add yet another 20 voyages to this facinating and sought-after destination".

The five day voyages onboard Carnival Paradise will include a day long or day and overnight call in capital Havana. The ships will also port in Key West & Cozumel.

Cuba has become a bit of a hotspot for Tourists since President Obama relaxed the U.S sanctions against the Island nation in 2015.

The additional 20 itineraries from 2019 is on top of the 11 itineraries to Cuba scheduled for the same year. Carnival Paradise will join Carnival Sensation which will operate 17 sailings to Cuba from Miami in 2019.

Other cruise liners enjoying cruises to Cuba include Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, MSC, Oceania and Holland America.
