Voyager of the Seas was once the largest cruise ship in the world during its maiden voyage way back in November 1999. This was before Explorer of the Seas took over the following year. Despite its reduced ranking, it is still one of the largest ships in the world and is currently the lead ship of Royal Caribbean International’s Voyager-class ships.
Originally measuring 137,276 in gross tonnage, it was refitted in 2014, increasing its tonnage to about 138,194. This luxurious mega-ship can accommodate up to 3,840 passengers, all of whom can be assured of top facilities and 24-hour entertainment once onboard.
Voyager of the Seas was recently amped up with additional facilities for its seasoned cruisers and new passengers to enjoy. If you’re planning to cruise on this ship, get ready to travel on a whole different level!
There are a bunch of new thrills to experience onboard. How do you want to experience a ride on its two high-speed waterslides amply named as The Perfect Storm™? More onboard activities await those who are looking for adventure - there's the glow-in-the-dark laser tag clash in Battle for Planet Z™, Voyager Dunes, and Adventure Ocean - all perfect for the kids and young at heart.
With Voyager of the Seas, you will never get bored. Aside from the vast ocean views on your journey, you'll have endless choices of entertainment and activities at sea.
There are bars and lounges, English pubs, as well as spa & fitness centres to enjoy. Take some relaxing adult-only time at the newly designed solarium, or spend the night watching a live orchestra, ice skating show, Broadway shows, and original theatre productions.
What you will experience on Voyager of the Seas is a selection of palate pleasers. Experience the exotic taste of the Far East at Izumi or get a taste of authentic Italian dishes served at Giovanni’s Table. More mouth-watering dishes await at the Chops Grille and Windjammer Cafe.
Voyager of the Seas management always ensures the best experience for passengers, with every aspect designed for comfort requirements. You can expect 24-hour service, a solid wi-fi connection, and daily stateroom attendant to ensure your utmost comfort and relaxation.
This Royal Caribbean ship has award-winning and awe-inspiring accommodation, whether you’ve chosen an interior, oceanview, balcony, and suite stateroom. Special Needs are also taken care of with fully equipped rooms and facilities to handle every passenger requirement. Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas is fully-equipped with everything you need for your upcoming cruise. So whether you need a couples retreat, a family suite, or single cabin the level of luxury and comfort remains the same.
Voyager Of The Seas Reviews
Jacqui travelled in November, 2019 and left the following review:
Food was very good but choice was a bit limited. They have squeezed extra cabins on at the refit and the ship felt very crowded 2 lifts were out of order the whole cruise which was very annoying seemed to have to wait ages. Tender ports were a joke had to wait till after midday before we could get off and we had to be back on board at 4 so hardly worth it. Only 2 production shows in 14 nights Cabin was new and very quiet good position close to lifts (8323) Dining room, theatre and star lounge were very cold
Eric travelled in February, 2018 and left the following review:
Cabin was Superior Deluxe Balcony Aft. ( close to midship ) Very comfortable and spacious housekeeping staff were fantastic. Mainly dined in the main dining room , no complaints about any meals all delicious . No complaints about any staff on the ship, they are all very friendly and very hard working. Ice- skating shows were brilliant, most of the entertainment in the La Scala Theatre were quite good but there was a couple of shows that were boring. We got a good deal through Crazy Cruises. Mystery Island and Noumea were great to visit. In Port Vila we got a cab into town centre, after 10 minutes we had 7 people following us everywhere we went , my wife was scared of being mugged so we returned to the ship by taxi. They even followed us to the taxi. So Port Vila is the only place we don't want to return to. Cruise and ship fantastic. First cruise absolutely loved it. Drink package a must!!!
Hong Lie Du travelled in January, 2018 and left the following review:
The waiters in dinning room are outstanding, room attendant is good. However, room is small, the charges on board are expensive and double price of Carnival.
Excellent service travelled in December, 2017 and left the following review:
Enjoyed very much and it is highly recommended
